So, what do our students’ think about a Dymond Institute education?
Working as a Marketing Assistant in one of Australia’s large accounting firms, I had experience working in the field however didn’t have formal qualifications. Knowing this would hinder future career progression, I approached Russell and the Dymond Institute who were able to provide me with an opportunity to complete a Dual Diploma in Business and Marketing. This was extremely helpful as other institutions would not accept my enrolment due to minimal years working experience, whereas Russell accepted my application without hesitation.
I found the format of the Diploma suited my personal life exceedingly well. Where working full time and out of work commitments prevent me from being able to attend classes during the day and exams on weekends, I was able to complete my studies when it suited me going as quickly or slowly as I needed.
Russell is an attentive tutor staying in touch on a weekly basis, proactively offers his assistance and is always highly responsive to requests. He takes a personal interest into you as an individual, understands your needs and what you value which makes dealings with him a pleasure. It is very obvious that Russell has a passion for helping others learn and develop and this is evident in the way he communicates with you.
Recently I received a promoted to a Client Development Advisor and I am very thankful of Russell and I accredit my knowledge in the field to him and his Diploma.

I had worked as a Deputy Principal in a large Public High School and as a Business Manager for a Financial Planner so I was confident in my management skills but had no formal accreditation. Having done my due diligence I enrolled in the Dual Diploma (Business and Marketing) with the Dymond Institute. This course not only offered me self-paced online study but also the flexibility of payment.
The content of the course is current and easy to follow, with examples clarifying each topic. Knowing I would be returning to work soon, the self-paced learning was ideal as I quickly moved through the units while I had the time. Once I was back at work (and a little time poor) it was reassuring to know that I was not under any undue stress from exam/assignment timelines but could continue to work through the units at my own pace.
For me the biggest selling point of Dymond Institute is Russell himself. I found him to be friendly and approachable, offering a highly responsive and professional service. He is extremely efficient and prompt in responding to queries. He would often return my assessment pieces within the hour which were regularly submitted on weekends/public holidays etc. His caring nature and encouraging, supportive feedback would motivate me to complete the next unit to the highest standard I could. (I was like a little kid not wanting to disappoint their teacher!). I have no hesitation in strongly recommending the Dymond Institute of Business to anyone looking for fully supported online study. I came to the Dymond Institute of Business as a mature age student without a prior qualification. I was nervous that I wouldn’t have the capacity to complete the courses on offer. Never the less, in a burst of courage I bit the bullet and enrolled in the Dual Diploma of Business and Marketing. From day one, Russell’s been understanding, and available to offer help or clarification if and when I’ve needed it. The course is specifically tailored to help the student understand the tasks assigned with logical “check points”. I am currently still studying, and much to my surprise, I enjoy it! Through Russell’s words of encouragement and praise, I am driven to complete the course and I look forward to his feedback. I have recently completed the Dual Diploma of Business and Marketing with Dymond Institue of Business. I was very nervous starting the course as it had been a while since I had done any sort of study. But Russell put me at ease, was very encouraging and always offering his assistance. Whenever I did have a question, or handed an assessment in, Russell was extremely quick to reply! I am very glad that I chose to study with Dymond Institute of Business, not only were they flexible with payment, I did not feel like a number at all, I felt that I could seek assistance at anytime, and knew that I would be promptly answered. It is extremely difficult to compose a unique testimonial for the Dymond Institute as it appears I have shared the very same experiences, and have nothing but praise and admiration for Russell, as has every other testimonial I have perused on this website. However, I felt compelled to have my say too.
I contacted several Training Organisations regarding their advertised Diploma of Marketing, yet instinctively, I chose the Dymond Institute and I am so glad I did. Half of the organisations never returned my call or email, and the other half appeared just that… half-hearted. Russell was keen, passionate and enthusiastic from the onset and remained that way right throughout the course, encouraging me each and every step of the way. In this crazy world we live in, it’s sometimes difficult to believe what you read in testimonials but I can attest that they are a 100% accurate portrayal of how I too feel about Russell and the Institute. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to Russell as I have enjoyed the entire experience. Who would have thought that I would decide to commence the Diploma of Business as well. I presently work full time, however, I have found the course to be challenging yet interesting and surprisingly simple to comprehend. The wonderful feedback after each assessment submitted has been a real boost to my self-esteem and confidence. If I can do it, so can you. I’m currently studying the Diploma of Marketing with hope to progress onto the Advanced Diploma in the future. Russell has been nothing but helpful and informative with anything I’ve asked, and regularly checks in to ensure that everything is going smoothly. I couldn’t ask for a more attentive and understanding supervisor; as working full time and managing study can be a little overwhelming at times. The most convenient thing for me was being able to take my study from home to work without lugging textbooks around, as it’s all accessible electronically. Everyone knows that working full time and studying and is balancing act, but Russell from Dymond Institute of Business make it easy. I enrolled in the Dual Diploma of Marketing and Business through RPL, and found the assessments very easy to complete. I’m currently studying towards a Certificate IV in Marketing, Diploma of Business and Diploma of Marketing. Dymond Institute has allowed me to study by correspondence, fitting my course in around my daytime employment.
Since beginning the course (6 months ago) I have never felt isolated. In fact
I have found that Russell’s response time to any questions I may have has been remarkably quick and frequently within the hour. He’s a conscientious training provider who has guided me through the course material to help me achieve quality results. I have found the training material to be relevant to the market today, and it’s well laid-out and easy to follow.

I am currently completing a Diploma of Marketing by distance learning, and Dymond Institute is exactly what I was looking for in a Training Provider. Some people may find distance learning daunting at first (as did I), but I have found that Russell is always available and if he is not, he is extremely prompt in his response. Whether it be email, phone call or Skype, no question is too small or too big for Russell. He remains in constant contact without being pushy and his passion for Marketing is infectious. The reading material is easy to follow and the content displays many examples throughout if you are unsure.
I would confidently recommend Dymond institute to anyone who is looking for fully supported distance learning.

I chose to study with Dymond Institute of Business because they are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) offering me the flexibility of being able to study online at my own pace. This means I can study when it suits me. There is no added pressure of deadlines or having to attend a class when I should be at work.
Equally important to me was saving money. By studying with Dymond, I didn’t have to buy textbooks because everything was provided to me online. This kept the price down and I can pay for my course as I progress module by module.
Russell was quick to put my mind at ease by answering all of my questions when enquiring about the Diploma of Marketing. To his word, I was enrolled and provided with access to Dymond’s student zone all on the same day I applied!
Study materials are written in plain English and easy to understand. All my study resources are available by logging onto their website.
I am truly amazed at the study assistance available to students at Dymond. Phone calls and emails receive prompt attention. I often receive assessment results within hours of submitting them! This gives me the confidence I need to continue studying. It demonstrates to me that Dymond care about their students and are committed to helping me achieve successful results.

I decided to enrol in the Dual Diploma of Business and Marketing through Dymond Institute of Business. Since the commencement of my course, I have received ongoing support superior to that of any other institution in which I have studied, including TAFE.

I have recently completed the Diploma of Business through ‘Dymond Institute of Business’. I was impressed with the professional structure and attention that was given to the class course setup and Learning and Assessment instruction document available. I think the amount of time set out for each assessment was appropriate, the information was relevant, and interesting, which always helps me when studying. Russell did an outstanding job of answering and explaining any questions that I had. I have been working in marketing for a number of years but never obtained formal qualifications. My experience in this field has enabled me to accumulate a great deal of marketing knowledge, that I felt could easily be converted into a qualification. I have collaborated with Russell Dymond now for a number of years and through the RPL process have been awarded first a Diploma of Marketing and recently an Advanced Diploma of Marketing. The RPL process was very simple and Russell assisted every step of the way. I imagine that there are many people of my generation that like me chose to go into the work force straight from school, rather than continuing tertiary study. The Dymond Institute is particularly targeted to people like me and I would highly recommend giving Russell a call to discuss the many RPL options available.
