How will I be assessed?
Dymond Institute’s holistic project-based assessment strategy is truly unique. Students’ will be required to develop a Strategic Marketing Plan throughout the duration of their course.
The marketing plan will be developed sequentially, part-by-part, in an extremely logical manner. The exact number of ‘parts’ your plan will contain, will depend upon whether you choose to study the Certificate IV in Marketing, Diploma of Marketing or Diploma of Business. Your project-based assessment will be based upon an approved product topic of your choice, as customising our programs’ to meet your specific needs is vital to your learning success.
In a truly innovative move, students’ who are not currently employed now the option to apply their learning and assessment requirements to a ‘real life’ business. The firm, Liquid NRG, is an authorised distributor of a new 100% natural energy drink in Queensland.
You will compile a portfolio of work throughout the duration of your study. This portfolio of evidence will, when completed, constitute your Strategic Marketing Plan.
As part of your project, you will be required to conduct market research and answer theoretical questions pertaining to the course content. Practical tasks are also extensively used to optimise your learning in a realistic and engaging setting. You’ll be tasked with the responsibility of developing a tactical marketing mix, consisting of robust: Product, Pricing, Communication and Distribution decisions, whilst meeting legislative requirements.
Will I attain a nationally recognised qualification upon successful completion?
If successful, you’ll be awarded with one or more nationally recognised qualifications at the completion of your course. These are:
★ BSB41307 – Certificate IV in Marketing
★ BSB51207 – Diploma of Marketing
★ BSB50207 – Diploma of Business

Whilst it’s sensational to possess a Certificate or Diploma qualification, it’s equally important that you can validate and substantiate your newly acquired knowledge and skills to prospective employers, investors or financial institutions. With our programs’ you’ll end up with more than a Certificate IV or Diploma qualification – you’ll be in a position to showcase your ability.
How long will my course take to complete?
The time it will take you to complete the course will depend upon how motivated you are. This is because our programs are self-paced. We’ll work closely with you to achieve your targeted completion date.
