Vocational education and training is designed to provide people with occupational or work-related knowledge and skills.
Business is not conducted in silos of isolation, and neither should one’s work-related education. To illustrate this, when we visit work each day, we don’t simply deal with one issue. For example, we might be selling goods, developing marketing strategies, and be dealing with complaints. We’re required to be proficient at multi-tasking.
Although we have daily work priorities, each day we are responsible for, and deal with, a multitude of tasks and a variety of problems. Therefore, to optimise our clients’ learning, our programs are project-based. This real world approach to learning, requires students’ to perform a variety of tasks when completing each assessment.
